UPPA Book Launch

The Uganda Press Photo Award announced the launch of the first comprehensive photojournalism book in Uganda. The publication celebrates five years of the Award, which promotes and showcases Uganda’s photographic talent.

With this book we take an opportunity to look back and see how far the project has come and more importantly how it has impacted on the growth of photographic talent in the country. Alongside the award winning pictures we have some of Uganda’s leading social commentators shed light on the most topical and memorable images that have enhanced debate and given context to where we are as a society.
